Massive Cannabis Forest Found In London

Cannabis is quickly becoming legal across the United States, where it is becoming legalized for personal and medical usage. However, within the UK, the drug remains a felony for anyone possessing and selling the narcotic. Police within London managed to locate an entire ‘cannabis forest’, with over 150 plants, some of which were over 5-feet tall in certain places. This little forest was discovered on unused land in Kingston.

The forest, which was said to be around the size of a football field, had been hidden for well over a year, according to the police who discovered it. This little patch could only be found after walking for 20 minutes through almost nothing but a wasteland.

PC Sarah Henderson, speaking with BBC, said: “Whoever set this up used a really remote spot – the only way to get there was a 20-minute walk through wasteland. But all their time, trouble and gardening skills will go unrewarded, as the whole lot will now be destroyed by police.”

The forest came to light after a member of the public complained about the massive size near Lower Marsh Lane.
