U.S. Congresswoman Anne Kirkpatrick (D-AZ) showed her true colors in a parade this past Saturday in Eloy, AZ.
Unfortunately those colors were not Red, White and Blue.
The Democrat Kirkpatricks float which she shared with signs for Democrat Governor candidate Fred DuVal displayed a Mexican flag prominently above it, as she campaigned in a heavily Hispanic area of her 1st District. And there was no American flag in sight.
And you wont believe what the parade was celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner!
But when Kirkpatrick herself Tweeted the photo, she engaged in some rather creative cropping…
Notice whats cut off? Yep, that foreign flag conveniently went down the memory hole.
The Arizona GOP issued a statement about her actions:
Arizona voters already know Kirkpatrick has been doing a poor job representing her constituents while she continues to support Obamas failed policies, but flying the Flag of Mexico alone with no sign of the Flag of the United States is offensive and hurtful not just to our veterans but to every American, said Robert Graham, Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party.
Kirkpatrick (@Ann_Kirkpatrick) tweeted out images of her official parade float which appear to have cropped away much of the Mexican flag, but other images of the float clearly show the Mexican flag displayed prominently.
Will Arizona voters in the 1st District remember who Ann Kirkpatrick truly represents come Election Day?
