There is no better David Letterman guest than Bill Murray.
Over Dave’s thirty five years on television, Bill has been there for Dave, often going to outrageous lengths to make his appearances truly one of a kind. Last night was to be his final appearance on The Late Show and he did so gloriously.
Starting off the proceedings by jumping out of a cake that read “Good Bye Dave!”
After prat falling on the ground and making his way around the Ed Sullivan Theater, Murray walked over to the desk and talked with Dave about Caddyshack, worked as a salesman for a Slovenia vodka, and then took one last walk down memory lane with Dave.
You can take a look at some of Bill’s greatest moments on the show right here. They don’t get much better than this, folks.
