Colored Chalk Tips

By  |

Today I am excited to share another locks tutorial! My wizard friend Caroline utilized chalk (yes, the usual chalk) to color the ends of her tresses like a rainbow, and you could also do ombre or just your chosen shade. Dont you adore this sexy rocker appearance? Heres tips do it…

Here are Carolines actions, therefore the wonderful Jamie Beck took pictures:
Dying tresses crazy colors is a trend thats already been going powerful for a while today, but what can you do if you want to have some fun, and do not wish commit to a semi-permanent dye? Heres your solution! Chalk pastels tend to be my go-to whenever I wish then add enjoyable into my tresses.

1. Get some locks chalk.

2. Choose your favorite colour of chalk, and wet the tip of this chalk you’ve chosen. After that rub the termination of the chalk along the guidelines of your tresses, re-wetting when necessary. (You may want to damp your own hair as opposed to the chalk, but we find it much easier to just re-wet the chalk whenever required. You dont wish your waterlog the hair, ever since then it’s going to come to be a mushy mess.)

3. Switch colors if you prefer. Only get crazy. Test. This type of tresses is supposed to be fun and carefree! (For my locks, I utilized a combo of four colors: magenta, peach, royal blue, and turquoise.)

4. Watch for your recently colored hair to dry only a little before you decide to get clothed. You do not want to get colored dye on the celebration outfit. Additionally, do not forget to clean your hands after, you are probably get quite messy. Dont stress, it comes down off with water and soap!

Three extra tips:
* when you have less heavy hair, skip wetting the chalk initially and simply make use of the chalk dried out on the locks. Wetting it might stain lighter locks a little more than darker tresses. If you learn that shade is not showing up sufficient obtainable, you may want to run an appartment metal throughout the part you merely colored. Heat will help brighten and secure the colour in.
* Apologies ahead of time when it comes to women with super dark locks; you may need to sit that one out (although, you could test some brilliant blues and purples for a cool subdued result).
* Dont fear that it’ll rub off onto your clothing once its dried out. I was wearing a white blouse when we took these photographs, and I also went out to dinner afterward and arrived home with no trace of shade everywhere on me or my garments (save your self for some brilliant pink chalk under my nails because i didnt wash my hands well enough;).

There you have it! Fun material! Celebrate, women!!!
Thank you such, Caroline and Jamie! Would-be really fun for a night out together, per night out with friends or a birthday celebration. Would you get it done?
