KABUL (Web Desk) – At least two militants, belonging to the Islamic State (IS), were killed in a US drone strike in Achin district in Nangarhar province on Friday.
According to security sources, the drone targeted a militant compound with two missiles, Dawn reported.
Afghan Taliban wrote a letter to IS Chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi warning him against waging a parallel insurgency in the country.
The Afghan Taliban insisted that “jihad against the Americans and their allies must be conducted under one flag and one leadership”. The letter was published on the Taliban website in Pashto, Urdu, Arabic and Dari.
