We made this basic chili a few weeks ago plus in I used my home made chili seasoning combination. I wanted to post the combination by itself to emphasize that you can use it for therefore way more than chili!
My favorite non-chili usage for chili seasoning is roasting veggies. Simply toss some vegetables (potatoes, broccoli, whatever) in certain olive-oil and chili seasoning, after that roast in a 400 level oven until theyre tender. SO EXCELLENT. It is possible to sprinkle this seasoning into your mac n mozzarella cheese, or utilize it to coat chicken or fish before grilling. After all, just what cant you are doing with chili seasoning?!
Homemade Chili Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 14 tsp cayenne pepper
- 14 tsp garlic dust
- 12 tsp onion dust
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 tsp (roughly) freshly surface pepper
- include all of the ingredients to a bowl and stir to combine. Store in an air-tight container, from temperature and dampness for up to 6 months.
The chili powder (very first ingredient) is a mild blend of chiles as well as other herbs. Click the link for an illustration.
Little of one step by action required with this particular one, huh?
