ISLAMABAD: After week-long strike by the employees of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national airliner has announced reduction in air fares upto Rs. 7,000 for stabilizing unrealistic hike in fares and to facilitate customers.
According to a PIA spokesman, the one-way ticket of PIA from Karachi to Lahore and Lahore to Karachi will cost Rs. 7,500 while the passengers travelling in the national airliner from Karachi to Islamabad will have to pay Rs. 7,000.
The Umrah ticket from Islamabad and Lahore will cost Rs. 54,000 while pilgrims have to play Rs. 44,000 if they are going to Umrah from Karachi.
The tariffs have been revised to stabilize unrealistic hike in fares and to facilitate customers.
