If you are on a Hawaiian romantic escape, here are a few tips to find little getaways to make the most of your experience. Hawaii has an incredible nightlife to offer and a wide variety of activities. Find something that suits your style and enjoy!
1) Rock the resort – If you are staying at an all-inclusive resort you don’t even have to leave the property. Enjoy an evening by the water, try one of the exclusive restaurants or check out some of the entertainment options. You can even book a romantic spa treatment for the evening, including a romantic dual massage and evening in the hot tub. Make sure you order your bottle of champagne and chocolate and you don’t even have to leave your hotel room.
2) Luau – At your resort or at a location in town, you cannot go to Hawaii and skip the luau. A romantic barbecue full of music, dancing and cocktails by the beach, enjoy sampling some of Hawaiian culture while enjoying the views and climate. While many luaus are very touristy, they are still a great way to enjoy and make the most of your stay. If you want a similar experience but without all of the tourist trappings, maybe sample a clambake instead.
3) Volcano Village – Enjoy live music from around the world, live theatre and other types of performance art in this extraordinary setting lit by candles and torches. It is an unforgettable experience with comfortable seating and offering something for everyone. This is a chance to see island culture at its greatest.
4) Nightclubs – The many islands of Hawaii offer a divers number of nightclubs that are fun and enjoyable. While there aren’t many standout clubs compared to many big cities, the clubs offer a nice local vibe and a variety of music. Make sure you double check the dress code of the club before you go, some are OK with beachwear and some require more formal wear.
5) The beach – You do not need to go far to enjoy all that Hawaii has to offer. Head on down to the beach at sunset and enjoy the amazing scenery. Make an evening of it and enjoy drinks on the beach. There are usually some beach events at local hotels and clubs, so see if you can find these events. Or look for something more low-key and just enjoy a walk along the shore – this is a romantic way to end any day.
