What’s the longest you’ve gone in the name of a terrible joke? A few days, a week? Well, Twitter is well known for having some pretty dedicated comedians. But no more so than Marcus Lepage, who appears to have waited seven years to make one amazing joke. Until recently, this was Lepage’s first and only tweet:

But this week he broke his silence, and came back with this tweet.

Understandably, Twitter was impressed with his commitment to the joke.

And of course, after telling the best joke in Twitter history, he quickly went back into retirement.

Twitter wished him well and i’m sure we’ll see Marcus again in 2023.
