Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday guested on Seth Meyers’ “Late Night,” with Meyers pressing O’Reilly on his disapproval of the Black Lives Matter movement.
“It’s a movement based upon (the idea) that America is inherently an evil country based on white superiority,” O’Reilly said. “They don’t want to solve the problem, they want to break the system down.”
To solidify his argument, O’Reilly invoked Dr. Martin Luther King, who “never would be in Black Lives Matter because it’s too volatile.”
“I don’t want concrete bricks thrown at police, I don’t want stores burned down, I don’t want anarchy in the streets, and I don’t think Americans want it either,” he continued. “If there’s a legitimate grievance, a specific grievance, let’s bring it to the floor, debate it, and solve it. And I think that’s what Dr. King would want.”
